Random Thoughts

I have a couple of random thoughts right now. It isn’t much, but I was just wondering if other people ever thought about the same things. I am a strong believer that kids that were born between ‘99 and ‘03 are their own breed of people. 6342C2F9-A854-4F15-8771-6F9542F593E3

We don’t really associate with the tide pod eating generation, but we know about when disney channel and nickelodeon actually had good shows. Something else that I have recently thought about is that when I was younger I hated taking naps.

This is a picture I took of my friend’s baby brother sleeping.

I never took naps at nap time, I never napped. Now that I am older I love napping. I truly appreciate naps. Naps are a blessing. This is really odd, but I wonder what people would do if their internal organs itched. DFC3F95B-6BE1-484D-9A6C-1E7E63DBDC3F

How would you scratch them? Does this drive you crazy thinking about it too? I’ve always wondered when hamsters came about.71032C3C-0F95-4B47-B2DA-E4096C9C22D0.jpeg

This is a picture I took of Khai’s hamster.

I have never seen a hamster outside just chilling and going about their days. Babies look like mini sumo wrestlers, seriously.23C50A14-F3BF-448D-A5B5-C0946CE50C90.jpeg

This is a screenshot from a video that my friend sent me of her niece, that looks like a baby sumo wrestler.

They have fat necks that are barely there. They’re chubby everywhere… Imagine a baby dressed as a sumo wrestler. Actually imagine two babies sumo wrestling. Last random thought, but my great grandma and great grandpa were so cute when they were younger. 211DAB6C-B770-437D-98C3-42D24988208F

Meeting my Internet Friend pt. 2

There’s this trip that’s going to literally change my life if I ever get the chance to actually go on it. I really hope that I do. Okay so I made ANOTHER internet friend. This on isn’t a catfish though because we face time all the time, but I’ve known her since March 11th of 2015. It seems a little weird that I know the exact date that we met, but I have really good memory when it comes to birthdays or when I met someone or dates just in general. Anyways, back to this trip that is going to be life altering. The most unfortunate thing is that my friend lives 2,240 miles away from me. All the way in Los Angeles, California. My friend’s name is Kira. Over the past 3 years that me and Kira have known each other we have grown extremely close. We tell each other everything and I feel really blessed to have made such a good friend and have grown so close with her, but we have really planned this trip to the T. The reason it would be life changing for me to meet Kira is because it would just be really nice to be in her presence and be able to say I traveled and had an awesome experience with a great friend. Since I have met her we have both been saving money to see each other and I am hoping to go and see her when I am 16 or 17. I am currently 15. We figured the amount that we would have to save would be around $3,000 and we split it down the middle. I save $1,500 and she saves the same. Right now I only have about $700 saved for this trip, but when I get a job at 16 I am planning on saving most of my money for this trip so that by the summer I can go see Kira. This was a little lame, but I’m just looking forward to seeing my friend.

Unpopular Opinion: Friday The 13th Is Really Lame

1560F492-578D-4ABA-9B85-CCB882E8C35CFriday the 13th is lame. There’s this superstition that Friday the 13th is unlucky. The reason this came to be is because 12 is believed to be a lucky number. There are 12 months in a year, 12 in a dozen, and many other things that involve the number 12. So 13 is seen as “unlucky.” Friday is also seen as an “unlucky” day because most crucifixes took place on Fridays, including Jesus’s. Friday the 13th is just seen as one of the most unluckiest days. Over the years there have been many events that have made Friday the 13th so unlucky though. One event in history that has made people believe that this day is so unlucky is because William Fowler founded the 13th club that had a meeting that took place on Friday the 13th. During this meeting they did things such as walk under ladders and break mirrors. This is why people started saying that when you walk under a ladder or break a mirror it is bad luck. This is also why some people skip the 13th number on an elevator and go straight to 14. In numerology 12 is seen as complete and 13 is seen as odd. Pretty much from my research I have discovered that Friday the 13th is “unlucky” for many different reasons. When I started researching at first I was thinking that there was going to be one reason for this “unluckiness”, but there are in fact many reasons. I don’t believe in bad luck or superstitions about Friday the 13th.

The Time I met This Girl From The Internet

This picture of my best friend’s facial expression was my mood the whole time. (I took this picture on facetime)

Okay so for my blog I decided that I wanted to do a story time of how I met someone on the internet and then we met in person. To keep things confidential we’re going to call this person “Taliyah.” Alright so once upon a time I was talking to this girl named “Taliyah.” “Taliyah” lived about 5 or 6 hours away from me and has a cousin that lives in Albany so I was begging her to come see me. Sadly, I was getting a little impatient because it had been 3 months of us talking everyday and we still hadn’t met yet. I was getting irritated. She finally wound up telling me that she was coming for the weekend and I was really excited to see her. There was a game that Friday and I was already planning on going to it; so I just asked her if she wanted to tag along with me and my friends. She did. I was extremely anxious and I thought she was lying about coming. She wasn’t though, unfortunately. So I get to the game late because I took forever getting ready and I felt terrible for getting there late, but I intended to make up for it. When I got there the first person that I saw was my friend Angel. I had already told Angel about her and showed her a picture. I asked Angel if she had seen her and so her exact words are “Is she thick ?” AND I BUST OUT LAUGHING. I AM LITERALLY CACKLING. I told her I didn’t know because she didn’t send me any body pictures. She then proceeded to say that she may have seen her. I call “Taliyah” to ask where she is and she tells me. I went to where she was with my friend Illiyah because I was super anxious to talk to her by myself. I walk up to her and her cousin and it’s super awkward. Her cousin compliments me and she catches my attention because she is hiding in the hood of her jacket. “Taliyah” literally put her hood of her hoodie on and pulled the strings. All I could see was her nose. I look over at Illiyah and we both laugh extremely loud. Okay so I am now curious as to why this girl is hiding her face and I attempt to take her hood off and she helps. THIS GIRL WAS A CATFISH. WHEN I TELL YOU SHE DIDN’T EVEN LOOK LIKE THE SAME PERSON. I was a little shaken up, but proceeded to talk to “Taliyah” because why not? I felt bad for being late because she had come so far just to see me; I was going to make up for it by buying her some food. I asked her if she was hungry and she said she was so we got off the bleachers and were walking towards the concession stands when suddenly… someone called her phone. This girl was on the phone for literally 30 minutes. I was getting aggravated because I wanted to go and sit back down and watch the football game. I walked up to her took the phone and put it above my head because she is 4’7 and I thought it would be funny. She starts reaching for it and I busted out laughing and handed it back to her. This is where things get interesting. She says the first and last two words of our conversation. Our conversation
began AND concluded with the words “shut up.” It was the only two words she had said to me the whole time. I walked off and hung out with my friends for the rest of the night. I texted her that night and told her I didn’t want to talk to her anymore. That’s it.
